FIREPLACES
Standard fireplaces are typically short and deep compared to Rumford fireplaces. On a standard fireplace, the damper is located in the front of the firebox and the back wall is sloped forward to close the throat. The Rumford Fireplace is tall and shallow with steeply angled side walls and an elegant, curved throat. They are easy to install using Superior Clay’s line of components, backed by our excellent technical support.
